Essential Main Hall Floor Refurbishment
Essential Main Hall Floor Refurbishment - Since updating our gas central heating system in December 2024, we have been planning when we could close the main hall for floor refurbishment. The work will be carried out in August 2025 as it is a quieter time for hall bookings and would be the least disruptive for our hall users.
The composite Granwood floor was installed in 1971 and first refurbished about thirty years ago. The floor has been showing signs of wear and tear for sometime and with the new central heating pipework channelled in around the perimeter of the hall floor, it was presented an ideal opportunity to refurbish the floor and bring it back to its former glory. Refurbishment is the most cost effective option at £10,530.
Our sincere apologies to those who are not able to continue with their regular activities during that time and to anyone who wanted to book the hall for a group event.
