Our latest project - Improving our outdoor space
We have spent August 2024, improving our outdoor space to create a seating area for the summer months and the better autumn weather. There has been a lot of clearing of brambles and stinging nettles. The hedge has been cut back to reveal a stunning view over the fields and a chain link fence put up. A wooden fence has been painted.
We hope to be able to raise funds for outdoor seating in time for next summer. Thank you to Peter, Annette, Dave, Gina, Pamela, Jan B and Nigel for getting 'stuck in' to this ambitious project. Well done all!
Latest update - Little Hadham Parish Council asked us to submit an application they could forward to apply for Local Prosperity Funding. The application was successful and a grant for £12k was awarded in support of improvements to our outdoor area. The plan includes a hard surface, picnic seating, bike storage and landscaping. The funding needs to be spent by the end of March 2025.
